Ever-Changing Reflection

Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding... It is the bitter potion by which the physician within you heals your sick self. Therefore trust the physician, and drink his remedy in silence and tranquility.

Do you know how much a human soul weighs?

I have a confession to make: While I consider myself a reader, and I love to read, I am clearly not as big of a reader as many others out there in the blogosphere. I found this meme through Classy in Philadelphia, and these people are reading multiple books IN A WEEK! I'm lucky if I'm reading one book a month, but I wanted to play along at least for this week.

My goal is to read at least one book a month, and I'd like to do more if I could. This month I'm reading...
I read and loved Brown's Angels and Demons and The DaVinci Code. This book does not disappoint as the final piece to the Robert Langdon puzzle. If you read this book, you will know the meaning of the post title. Brown leaves you anxious to turn the next page, and the plot takes some quite unexpected turns.

I'm about 75% done with this book, and I have absolutely no idea how it is going to end. I'm certainly looking forward to it though! I'm hoping I won't be disappointed.

The next book on my list, for July, will either be one of four marketing books that come highly recommended, or one of the books off my 30 Before 30 list.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who can't read that many books in a week! If it's a really good book and I'm not too busy I tend to be able to read it in a week, otherwise it's anything between a week, fortnight and even a month!

Ah you know, I don't read enough either! And I have lots and lots of free time. I used to read so much as a kid. I recently started reading more again, and it feels so great! I think a book per month is a great way to get back into it... there are so many amazing books out there! Don't you just love that feeling, when you can't tear yourself away from a book? It's the best!

Wow, multiple books in a week?! That's amazing!! I would love to do that, but it's so hard to find the time!! But I feel inspired now to pick up a book instead of checking my email for the 10th time :)

Some read a lot and some hope to get through a book a week, the point is to just enjoy the act of reading and hopefully find some new books to add to the list. The Lost Symbol was a good read. Enjoy your week. My Monday: http://www.rundpinne.com/2010/06/its-monday-what-are-you-reading.html

I'm in the middle of reading Lost Symbol right now too! I think Da Vinci Code was better, but so far I'm liking Lost Symbol too :)

I am looking forward to reading The Lost Symbol. I have had it on my shelf for quite a while just haven't got to it yet.

Jennifer covered it well, it doesn't matter how much or how little you read, this meme is just to share what we are reading. :)

Glad to have you join in! Have an awesome week!

I hope you enjoyed the ending! It sounds like a good read, I need to get back to reading again soon once I'm all moved.
