Ever-Changing Reflection

Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding... It is the bitter potion by which the physician within you heals your sick self. Therefore trust the physician, and drink his remedy in silence and tranquility.

Wearing your heart on your sleeve... is lame!

Time for our weekly Bachelorette recap. SPOILER ALERT!

Whoa Nelly! New York apparently brings out the creep in some of Ali's guys. But, isn't that every week?

  • Kasey needs to stop singing. He is too creepy for words. He should have gone home. C'mon, you were talking to the stuffed gorillas, and they told you Ali was cute?!?
  • Kasey should have been on The Lion King group date, so he would have had the appropriate opportunity to showcase his singing skills. However, my singing award goes to Jesse and Roberto -- clearly the best. It was super sweet that Roberto sang to Ali, and it paid off! I'm glad he won; he looked hot in those black spandex shorts. I love his arms, his chest, his smile, his eyes... *sigh* Lucky Ali.
  • Those Lion King costumes... ummm... not so much.
  • Ali's In Style New York wardrobe? Yes please! Loved every outfit.
  • Kudos to Kirk for taking Ali aside not to hog her attention but to tell her to go to bed. You should have gotten the rose for that date.
  • Poor Chris L. for not getting to go out on the town for his birthday, but he is the cutest for keeping sick Ali company with chicken soup.
  • I can't believe Kasey got a cliche tattooed on his arm. Lame. LAME. Frank said it well, it doesn't prove anything except that you are nuts. Yup. Pretty much. And Frank doesn't even know it, but he saved that creep when he interrupted before he showed Ali the tat.
  • Jesse so should have gotten the rose over creepy Kasey, but I'm SO GLAD Jonathan (a.k.a. The Weatherman) is GONE! Adios freak.
  • Why do all the guys think Ali will go ga-ga as soon as they serenade her? She just doesn't strike me as one of those girls.

Did you watch last night? What did you think?

All the singing weirds me out, this isn't American Idol people! Also, who the hell is Chris N.? I swear I've never seen that guy talk. Very strange. So far it looks like the spoiler of who are in the top 2 seems to be on track.

I don't watch most reality TV...I find if I start, I can't stop, haha.

Gave you another blog award! :-)

Is Kasey like Wes? Wasn't Wes the one on one of the shows that sang to the Bachelorette constantly?!

UGH.

It IS possible for guys to try way too hard. I think they're more wrapped up with winning than they are the whole "love" part of it!

Kasey should probably not spell his name with a "K"... never mind the singing.

Last night was the first time I watched at all this season...and I was SO weirded out by the singing! And the tattoo! Ew it was too awkward for words. Lilu's comment makes me laugh :)

LiLu's comment makes me laugh too. Then again, LiLu usually makes me laugh with everything she writes!

And, Jessica, good point on the "love" part. I've seen a couple of the guys let their competitive guard down long enough to show they are there because they think they can love Ali, but those moments are rare.

Kasey is crazy, awkward, and makes me uncomfortable. I'm pretty sure his favorite toy as a young buck was Tenderheart Bear. He sees nothing wrong with branding himself with his -must-guard-and-protect-Ali's-heart tattoo.

And what is up with the 11 stones for his Bro's. Seriously Kasey. You are Crazy!!!
