Ever-Changing Reflection

Your pain is the breaking of the shell that encloses your understanding... It is the bitter potion by which the physician within you heals your sick self. Therefore trust the physician, and drink his remedy in silence and tranquility.

Two Pictures Game!

Per Mishka, I am playing along. How fun!

Let's play a fun game today:
Grab your camera.
Take pictures of 2 things in the room you're in right now.
Put them on your blog and say why you chose those 2 items to photograph.
Then comment here with the link to your blog post so we can all see each others' photos!

I'll start...

This is the half wall in between the living room and kitchen, looking into the living room (the room I am in). In this picture is everything I love about our living room: the adorable, warm pendant light we found; the wine bottle candle warmer my sister gave us; the calming sage green walls we painted (they used to be a golden yellow); and the giant wall of windows!

My second picture is one of my favorite things to see in the living room: our dog Morris looking out the window. I love (and I'm sure he does too) that he can see out the windows from the floor and keep tabs on what's going on in the street.

Since I think Morris is one of the cutest things ever, I took some more pictures...

I called him away from the window so you could actually see his face.

Oh my gosh, Morris is so cute! And I love your windows, light rooms are my favorite.

Thanks Michelle! The windows were a big selling point for me with this house. Although, I quickly learned, it's a challenge to cover them (at night and for privacy), hence the reason they are still without accessory!
